The best seafood restaurants in Bangkok, from Somboon's famous curry crab and Ministry of Crab's giant mud crabs to PAII's modern Thai seafood and Michelin Bib Gourmand favourites, with prices and tips.
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Bangkok sits close to the Gulf of Thailand, and seafood is at the heart of its cooking, from curry crab to river prawns grilled over charcoal. This guide covers the best places to eat it, from an elegant restaurant in a 19th-century mansion to family-run Michelin Bib Gourmand spots on the edge of the city.
This is an editorial selection, not a scientific or absolute ranking. We focused on restaurants that specialise in seafood, using the Michelin Guide Thailand 2026, official menus and recent listings to check addresses and prices.
The guide is compiled from published sources, not from personal visits. Seafood is often priced by weight, so check the price before you order.

PAII serves modern Thai seafood in The House on Sathorn, a 19th-century mansion built for the man who dug the Sathorn Canal, next to the W Bangkok hotel. Its name means "paddle" in Thai. The menu mixes local seafood, such as mud crab from Samut Songkhram and squid from Chonburi, with imported oysters and Hokkaido scallops. Order the giant crab fried rice, made with a whole mud crab and big enough to share.
Price and booking: the nine-course experience menu costs about ฿3,850++ per person, and à la carte dishes are also available. It is a three-minute walk from Chong Nonsi BTS Station.

Also order the deep-fried seabass with sweet fish sauce and the spicy seafood soup.
