Last updated: October 27, 2026
Tokyo is one of the best cities in the world for a special dinner for two. Couples can choose between skyline views from the city's towers, grand French dining rooms in Ginza and Ebisu, and private rooms where a tasting menu becomes a completely private evening.
This guide picks ten romantic restaurants in Tokyo, with prices in Japanese yen (¥) and tips for booking the right table.
This is an editorial selection, not a scientific or absolute ranking. We looked for restaurants with a romantic setting, whether a view, a private room or an intimate dining room, combined with excellent food. We checked opening status, addresses and prices against official sources, the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2026 and recent listings.
The guide is compiled from published sources, not from personal visits. Confirm current prices when you book.
