Best Pizza in Miami

By AxovaEats Editorial Team Published October 7, 2026 Updated October 7, 2026

Four Miami pizzerias made the 2026 50 Top Pizza world list. Here is where to find Neapolitan pies, a Wynwood tasting menu, a Bib Gourmand pizzeria and New York slices, with price notes.

Miami's pizza scene has outgrown its reputation. In 2026, four Miami pizzerias made the 50 Top Pizza list of the world's best, and three of them sit in the national top 15 of the U.S. ranking. The styles differ widely, from Neapolitan pies baked in a dome oven to a tasting menu built around pizza and a fifteen-seat slice counter.

This guide covers six pizzerias, sorted by what kind of pizza you want. We note the 2026 rankings where they exist, and we say plainly when a price or a menu detail could not be confirmed.

How We Chose These Pizzerias

This is an editorial selection, not a scientific or absolute ranking. We started with the 2026 50 Top Pizza rankings, whose inspectors visit anonymously and pay their own bills, and added restaurants recognized by the Michelin Guide and Time Out. We then looked at what each place actually serves.

The guide is compiled from published reporting, not from personal visits. Menus, prices and opening hours change often, so check current details before you go.

Miami in the 2026 50 Top Pizza Rankings

50 Top Pizza publishes separate lists for the United States, for slice shops in the United States and for the world. Four Miami restaurants appear in the 2026 editions.

Pizza as a Special-Occasion Dinner

Francesco Martucci Miami

Francesco Martucci Miami is at 10 N.E. 27th Street in Wynwood. It is the first U.S. restaurant, and the only one outside Italy, of the Caserta pizzaiolo whose restaurant I Masanielli ranks among the world's top pizzerias. The room is dark and dramatic, with a tall glass wine vault that staff reach by climbing, a feature Time Out calls the "wine angels".

The menu splits between Neapolitan-style pies, such as a margherita with a tender center, and Martucci's signature pizza a due temperature, in which the dough is fried before it is baked in the wood-fired oven. The restaurant also serves tasting menus, which cost $200 at opening according to the Miami Herald, and it now lists 7- and 9-course versions, so confirm the current price. Time Out rates the restaurant $$ and serves dinner only.

Reviews are mixed. Time Out calls it a solid stop that may not fully live up to the hype, and The Infatuation says plainly that it is not the world's best pizza, while praising the margherita. Treat it as a pizza-led dinner out rather than a quick slice.

Neapolitan Pizza

Two of Miami's best-known pizzerias bake Neapolitan pies in wood-fired ovens and share the same national ranking, yet their rooms and neighborhoods are quite different.

La Leggenda Pizzeria

La Leggenda is at 224 Española Way in Miami Beach, in a small space near the eastern end of the street. Naples-born pizzaiolo Giovanni Gagliardi bakes the pies in a domed, wood-fueled oven, and New Times describes crusts that are soft, airy and well blistered. Gluten-free dough is also available.

50 Top Pizza has ranked it in the U.S. top ten in earlier years, and in 2026 it ties for No. 11 nationally and No. 47 worldwide. We could not confirm current prices, so check the menu before you go. Choose it for a classic Neapolitan margherita near the beach.

'O Munaciello

'O Munaciello is at 6425 Biscayne Boulevard in the MiMo District and is the Miami branch of a pizzeria from Florence, Italy. Its dough rises for 48 hours before it goes into a wood-fired oven, and the restaurant also makes a charcoal-infused dough. A second Miami location is on Coral Way.

For 2026, 50 Top Pizza singled out an eggplant Parmigiana and a Ricotta e Salame pizza. The Infatuation notes that the decor is a bit strange but calls it one of the best places for Neapolitan pizza in the city. We could not confirm current prices.

Wood-Fired Pizza With Natural Wine

La Natural

La Natural is at 7289 N.W. 2nd Avenue in Little River and holds a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide, which recognizes good-value cooking. Michelin lists it at $$ and says reservations are worth making, since the crowds can be relentless in a room with concrete floors and dim lighting.

The pizzas come out of a wood-burning oven behind the bar, and the crust is cold-fermented for 48 hours. Michelin recommends the burrata and basil pie and notes toppings such as za'atar and Sichuan peppercorns. The restaurant also has one of the city's longer natural wine lists. According to Michelin's listing it is closed on Monday and Tuesday and serves weekend lunch.

New York-Style Slices and Sicilian Squares

If you want pizza without a sit-down dinner, these two downtown spots are the ones to know. Both are small, and neither is a late-night stop.

Miami Slice

Miami Slice is at 1335 N.E. Miami Court in downtown Miami. It began as a pandemic pop-up and settled into its current space in 2022, a narrow counter with about 15 seats and no reservations. Lines often form before the doors open, and Time Out warns that the ordering system can be confusing and the wait long.

The New York-style slices use dough with a long cold fermentation, and 50 Top Pizza mentions its Mushroom Truffle. Miami Slice took No. 3 on the 2026 Slice USA list, its third consecutive year in the top ten, and it appears at No. 100 on the world list. Time Out rates it $. Plan for a wait.

Eleventh Street Pizza

Eleventh Street Pizza's original shop is at 1035 N. Miami Avenue, in the Park West area of downtown. David Foulquier turned his closed restaurant Fooq's into a pizzeria in 2021. The menu offers New York-style rounds and thick Sicilian squares, both made with sourdough, and the shop is mostly counter service with a few tables and a patio.

Time Out recommends the Sicilian pepperoni topped with Calabrian chili paste and hot honey, and the wild maitake slice with caramelized onions. The shop ranked No. 14 on Time Out's list of the world's best pizza, and Time Out lists it at $$. The Infatuation notes it is not a late-night spot. A second location in Dadeland, at 9025 S.W. 72nd Place, has more of a sit-down feel.
